Senior Software- und Systems-Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and development of distributed backend systems for processing and archiving sensor data (e.g., Python, MongoDB, MQTT, RabbitMQ)

• Creation and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data platforms

• Development of modern Angular-based web applications for visualizing large datasets, along with CI/CD pipelines and container infrastructure (GitLab, Docker)

• Development and integration of embedded and edge systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi)

• Establishment and enhancement of the existing software architecture and development processes

• Planning and execution of automated testing and quality assurance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced software engineer with a strong understanding of frontend, backend, and distributed systems

• Proven experience in developing complex software systems and a keen interest in technically challenging development projects

• Excellent programming skills in Python

• Familiarity with MQTT, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Angular, TypeScript, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, etc.

• Experience with automated software testing

• Background in Linux-based systems such as Jetson or Raspberry Pi

• Proficient in both German and English.
