Senior Software Tool Developer, Cyber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, development, and upkeep of web applications utilizing the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.

• Create, test, and implement software using programming languages and frameworks pertinent to the organization’s technology stack.

• Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend requirements, guarantee that solutions align with business objectives, and offer technical support for issue resolution.

• Design, develop, and manage internal web applications that bolster cybersecurity operations.

• Introduce new features using ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL Server.

• Craft and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for extensive enterprise datasets.

• Proven ability to diagnose intricate issues across application code, SQL Server, and production scenarios.

• Streamline manual cybersecurity and compliance processes through software solutions.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and system stakeholders to convert operational requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployments, and continuous enhancement activities.

• Assist in the maintenance and modernization of existing applications while also developing new functionalities.

• Document technical designs, database modifications, and application features.

• Proficient in working across the complete application stack, encompassing database, backend services, web applications, and production troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Five (5) years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering.

• Experience in designing SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and optimizing queries.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Pull Requests, CI/CD, and Work item management.

• Proficient in any of the following application coding languages: C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and ASP.NET MVC.

• Experience with software tools such as ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, REST APIs, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, IIS, Azure DevOps, and Git.
