This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Evaluate business, user, and system requirements to create software testing solutions within an Agile framework.
• Develop and uphold release test models, encompassing test plans, test data, test scripts, test estimates, test schedules, and test strategies.
• Establish release test plans, criteria for user acceptance testing, and entry and exit criteria for production readiness.
• Design, implement, execute, and troubleshoot test cases, test scripts, test plans, and documentation for quality strategies.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, database, batch job, data validation, and release testing.
• Compose and run intricate SQL queries to confirm data accuracy, completeness, transformation, and reporting outcomes.
• Assist in healthcare technology testing that involves EDI, HIPAA, PHI, CMS reports, federal reporting, T-MSIS reports, ELT, Informatica, and enterprise data warehouse settings.
• Utilize JIRA and Azure DevOps or comparable tools to develop test plans, oversee test cases, record results, and monitor defects.
• Identify, document, triage, and manage software defects until resolution.
• Aid in the planning, creation, maintenance, and management of test environments and release installation processes.
• Organize testing-related release activities and engage in walkthroughs, peer reviews, release readiness sessions, and lessons learned discussions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, product teams, vendors, and client-facing teams to clarify requirements and achieve successful testing results.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be accepted.
• Over 8 years of experience in roles such as QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Test Analyst, or a similar software testing position.
• More than 8 years of experience throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) implementations.
• Proficient in creating test plans, test estimates, test schedules, test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Extensive experience in writing complex SQL statements for data validation and backend testing.
• Practical experience in database testing, batch job testing, data validation, and reporting validation.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation concepts, frameworks, and execution.
• Experience in testing healthcare systems related to EDI, HIPAA, PHI, CMS, federal reporting, or T-MSIS reporting.
• Knowledge of ELT, Informatica, enterprise data warehouses, Cognos, Tableau, or similar reporting and data platforms.
• Preferred: experience in testing Medicaid, Medicare, pharmacy, payer, provider, or government healthcare technology platforms.
• Preferred: experience in validating healthcare claims, encounters, eligibility, enrollment, provider, or reporting data.
• Preferred: understanding of Agile testing, release management, production readiness, and quality assurance governance.
• Preferred: experience in peer reviews, structured walkthroughs, release readiness reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
