Senior Software Entwickler, C# / .NET – Abrechnungssystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will develop and take responsibility for a central billing system (C# / .NET, Backend) and ensure its stable operation.

• You will work within a mature .NET system landscape and take charge of the further development of a long-established codebase.

• You will analyze complex business and technical relationships and make informed technical decisions that sustainably improve and modernize the system.

• You will identify technical debts early, assess them realistically, and drive modernization pragmatically and effectively.

• In the team, you will clearly articulate technical topics, stand by your decisions, and provide guidance even in challenging situations.

• You will work with relational databases, web applications, and REST APIs in the .NET environment.

• You will conduct deployments, monitor production operations, and follow through on topics until a viable solution is reached.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a software developer with C# and .NET.

• You are proficient in object-oriented software development, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, REST APIs, and relational databases.

• Willing to work predominantly with established .NET codebases (e.g., .NET 4.7/4.8).

• Clean code, maintainable architectures, and automated tests are your foundation for decision-making.

• You are ready to take responsibility, communicate clearly, and confidently represent technical positions.

• Experience with CI/CD or AI-supported development tools is a plus.

• Negotiation-level (C1) German language skills and very good (B2) English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Experience from product-related environments like FinTech, platforms, or SaaS is a plus.
