Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and create essential platform features with a significant emphasis on **cloud services** and **platform architecture**.

• Develop and sustain scalable **Java-based backend systems**.

• Play a role in the advancement of the platform's **API ecosystem** utilizing GraphQL and REST.

• Lead technical design, execution, and production support initiatives.

• Enhance **code quality**, maintainability, and engineering standards through peer reviews.

• Work closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to provide dependable solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production challenges.

• Participate in architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Assist in modernizing cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and platform capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in **software engineering**.

• Strong proficiency in **Java** and JVM-based backend development.

• Experience in building and managing **cloud-native applications**.

• Practical knowledge of **containers**, **Kubernetes**, and **CI/CD pipelines**.

• Experience in designing and utilizing **REST APIs** and/or **GraphQL APIs**.

• Skilled in **JavaScript** and **TypeScript**.

• Familiarity with contemporary public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Excellent English communication skills.
