Mid-level Back-end Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish and sustain connections between AI agents and real-world systems utilizing MCP (Model Context Protocol) and FastMCP.

• Execute intricate security and identity workflows, including OAuth/OIDC, opaque tokens, and Token Exchange.

• Create and manage cloud-native architectures on AWS employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to guarantee scalability and resilience.

• Provide support for IL 0 services, ensuring the AI infrastructure functions with optimal availability and continuous uptime.

• Build high-performance distributed systems using Python, Go, or TypeScript.

• Analyze and ensure observability of distributed flows on API Gateway platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend engineering and high-performance distributed systems.

• Proficient understanding of security and identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Token Exchange, and complex authentication workflows.

• Experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK).

• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or protocols for integrating agents with external systems.

• Proficient in development using Python, Go, or TypeScript.

• Capability to diagnose and instrument distributed systems with an emphasis on observability.

• Familiarity with AI concepts: LLMs, agents, and skills.
