This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
• A collaborative team player with a passion for achieving both team and individual objectives, possessing at least 5 years of experience in backend development;
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex modern web applications;
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Go, Scala, Kotlin, or Java;
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis, along with an understanding of common use cases and performance challenges;
• Demonstrated fluency in AI and an Agentic Engineering mindset, with the strategic insight to integrate AI tools into daily tasks to optimize productivity, ensure high-quality output, and maintain full accountability for all deployed work;
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SNS, along with a comprehensive understanding of their use cases and potential issues;
• Skilled in implementing prototypes and concepts including MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling out features to production;
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPI tracking;
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures, particularly in AWS;
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written English and Portuguese.
