Senior Software Engineering Manager – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acts as the engineering lead for cross-functional teams that support SunStrong’s Salesforce platform.

• Directs a team of Salesforce software engineers.

• Tasked with building and sustaining a high-performing team.

• Manages architectural and design choices across the Salesforce platform.

• Offers code reviews and provides mentorship.

• Conducts Agile sprint ceremonies.

• Recognizes, implements, and advocates for opportunities to enhance team delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience in software development.

• A minimum of 3+ years in a leadership position.

• Extensive hands-on experience as an engineering leader within an enterprise-scale Salesforce ecosystem.

• Proficient in effectively utilizing AI tools to enhance application quality and delivery.

• In-depth experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and the Salesforce metadata model.

• Strong understanding of governor limits, bulkification, security models, and performance optimization.

• Demonstrated experience in integration design (REST/SOAP, asynchronous processing, error handling, retry patterns).

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architect, or Data Cloud credentials are preferred.
