Senior Software Engineer, Zone Procure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and implement intricate, high-value features across the Zone platform.

• Spearhead AI integrations and determine AI workflows for deployment and troubleshooting.

• Assess technical trade-offs and select designs that minimize long-term complexity.

• Break down ambiguous requirements into phased execution plans.

• Convert technical debt and architectural decisions into business implications.

• Refactor unstable code paths and set elevated standards for reviews and documentation.

• Predict and address architectural bottlenecks.

• Guide mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and design mentorship.

• Take ownership of and achieve OKRs and KPIs, encompassing outcomes, quality, and timelines.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Architecture, and FinOps leaders.

• Establish patterns for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Experience in Fintech, Payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Capability to lead complex projects from ambiguity to successful production delivery in a globally distributed setting.

• Experience in designing testable solutions for high-stakes business logic.

• Proficient in working fully remote, asynchronously, in globally distributed environments with a high degree of autonomy and self-discipline.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities across different time zones.
