Senior Software Engineer – Servicenow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Participate in development initiatives and enhancements for ServiceNow.

• Manage troubleshooting tickets within the ServiceNow platform.

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs, notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS solutions.

• Create and utilize update sets to transfer customizations between ServiceNow instances.

• Design and uphold a highly available and recoverable environment.

• Review requirements to ensure they contain sufficient detail for accurate estimation.

• Proactively maintain current ServiceNow skills.

• Conduct peer reviews, mentor, and share technical expertise with the service management team.

• Collaborate with process owners and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

• Experience working within an ITSM organizational framework.

• Proven experience in implementing Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB processes.

• Proficient in ServiceNow Development.

• Knowledge of ITIL practices.

• Possession of ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.

• Certification as a ServiceNow Application Developer.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to work evening shifts from 5pm to 2am IST.
