This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• In the role of a ServiceNow Developer focusing on CSM/FSM, your primary responsibility will be to develop customer applications for managing Work Orders, scheduling, and dispatching.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders to pinpoint essential functionalities within the customized ServiceNow instance.
• Improve ServiceNow (SN) event rules as needed to guarantee accurate CMDB binding.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain the necessary environmental information that supports your service map and event tasks.
• Proficiency in FSM, CSM, and Integrations within ServiceNow.
• Understanding of FSM, CSM, and Integrations solutions, with the ability to communicate and implement them effectively.
• Capability to develop interfaces tailored to each user audience based on custom application models or Service Portals.
• Experience in creating integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow internal services and APIs (via REST).
• Knowledge of service-oriented and distributed application architecture in enterprise settings (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc.).
• Familiarity with both Credential-less and Credential-based Discovery.
• Skill in installing, configuring, and integrating software products from ServiceNow FSM, emphasizing discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.
• Ability to prevent duplicate Configuration Items (CIs) using CI identifiers.
• Extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.
• Expertise in configuring, managing, and maintaining MID servers.
• Proficient in utilizing the command line console for Service Mapping.
• Ability to work with and migrate patterns across environments for Service Mapping.
• Skilled in setting up Identification Rules for Service Mapping.
• Knowledgeable in the Discovery of multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
