Senior Software Engineer – SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on internal tools and customer-facing applications to enhance operational efficiency, data validation, and the implementation experience for global clients.

• Lead the design and implementation of complex tools and services to improve the efficiency of SaaS deployments.

• Make end-to-end architectural decisions and communicate trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks in databases, applications, and APIs within large-scale systems.

• Design APIs, distributed services, and components capable of supporting massive datasets without performance degradation.

• Utilize AI coding agents through specification, generation, rigorous technical review, and validation.

• Mentor engineers on technical decisions, code reviews, and maintainable architecture.

• Take ownership of complex technical issues from discovery through to production.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10 years of experience.

• Expertise in Query Optimization, Database Performance, SQL Performance, Profiling, Benchmarking, Performance Tuning, Data Access Optimization, High-Volume Data Processing, Large Datasets, Batch Processing, and Data Transformation.

• Experience in Distributed Systems, Distributed Services, Scalable Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, System Design, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Separation of Concerns, Reliability, and Maintainability.

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, REST APIs, and Web APIs.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Automated Deployment, Git, Code Review, Automated Testing, Observability, Monitoring, and Profiling.

• Intelligent use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).

• Ability to make end-to-end architectural decisions and explain trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving bottlenecks in databases, applications, and APIs.

• Capable of designing APIs, distributed services, and components for massive datasets.

• Ability to mentor engineers in technical decisions, code reviews, and maintainable architecture.

• Complete ownership of complex technical issues from discovery through to production.

• Experience with Claude Code is preferred.

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, RAG, and LLM-based features is preferred.

• Experience in building customer-facing data validation or onboarding tools is desirable.

• Open-source contributions or ambitious side projects are a plus.
