Senior Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with the Product Manager to assess project specifications

• Developing integration plans, breakdowns, and estimations

• Engaging in hands-on code implementation, pull requests, code reviews, testing, and more

• Partnering with Michael (co-founder and CTO), along with the product and engineering teams (web developers, SRE, data scientists)

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a back-end or full-stack software engineer

• More than 5 years of experience in tech scale-ups or other similarly agile and fast-paced environments

• At least 5 years of experience working on large-scale products where your code is utilized by thousands of users monthly

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English)

• A sense of ownership and commitment - we seek individuals who take initiative, not just temporary participants

• A proactive mindset - we are progressing quickly and require individuals who can strike the right balance between software craftsmanship and speed

• User-focused - you take pride in your work and share our passion for delivering an outstanding user experience

• Comfortable developing products that are built on uncensored models and content

• Bonus points: Previous experience or interest in data science and generative AI (NLP, ML, MLOps, etc.)

• Bonus points: Experience working with globally distributed teams
