Senior Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with the Product Manager to assess project specifications.

• Developing integration plans, breakdowns, and estimations.

• Engaging in hands-on code implementation, pull requests, code reviews, testing, and more.

• Partnering with Michael (co-founder and CTO) alongside the product team and the engineering team, which includes web developers, SRE, and data scientists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a back-end or full-stack software engineer.

• Experience in tech scale-ups or similarly agile and fast-paced environments.

• Involvement in large-scale products where your code served thousands of monthly users.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• A sense of ownership and commitment - we seek individuals who act as owners, not renters.

• A proactive mindset - we are moving quickly and require individuals who can balance software craftsmanship with speed.

• User-centric focus - you take pride in your work and share our passion for delivering an outstanding user experience.

• #NSFW - you are comfortable developing products that utilize uncensored models and content.

• Bonus points: Previous experience and/or interest in data science and generative AI (NLP, ML, MLOps, etc.).
