Senior Software Engineer, React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance fundamental components of mobile and web applications using React Native throughout the entire betting lifecycle.

• Analyze and address critical issues within the React Native client and implement preventive measures.

• Facilitate design reviews for iOS, Android, and React Native applications.

• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams regarding entry placement, confirmations, slip modifications, errors, and bet history management.

• Transform vague cross-team objectives into actionable plans complete with milestones and assigned responsibilities.

• Leverage product analytics, error dashboards, and session data to confirm solutions and identify regressions.

• Mentor engineers on design principles and ownership while establishing reusable design patterns.

• Proactively identify and address risks within shared systems before they affect customers or teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant expertise in React Native and a strong understanding of native iOS/Android frameworks.

• Proven history of resolving complex or ambiguous challenges that involve multiple services, teams, or platforms.

• Experience in leading technical projects that have resulted in measurable improvements.

• Capacity to convert vague, high-level objectives into actionable plans with defined milestones and responsibilities.

• A collaborative mindset with a focus on coaching.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with mobile app performance, testability, and delivering reliable features at scale.

• Bonus: Experience in sports, fantasy, or gaming domains.

• Bonus: Background in wagering, betting, or high-stakes transactional processes.
