Senior Software Engineer – React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality React Native applications for Kraken's financial offerings.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to address client challenges.

• Take ownership of features from understanding the problem and shaping solutions to implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.

• Enhance product discovery, trading experiences, and customer journeys.

• Utilize APIs and real-time data to deliver responsive, data-rich mobile applications.

• Make informed decisions regarding state management, rendering, performance, and architecture.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams early in the product development process.

• Engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and uphold product-engineering standards within Consumer Mobile.

• Leverage data and client feedback to inform product enhancements.

• Extensive experience with React Native, building and deploying impactful production applications.

• Capability to make architectural and implementation choices within a modern mobile codebase.

• Strong product-building mindset and sound product judgment.

• Proven track record of product impact through metrics, experimentation, and client behavior.

• Comprehensive feature ownership from discovery to iteration.

• Familiarity with APIs and dynamic or real-time data.

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication within a globally distributed team.

• Skilled with AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude.

• Experience in converting loosely defined product challenges into features or products that have measurable client impact.

• Nice to have: experience in fintech, trading, crypto, payments, or financial technology.

• Nice to have: knowledge of trading, investing, or financial products.

• Nice to have: experience with real-time or streaming data.

• Nice to have: background in mobile and web development.

• Nice to have: experience in startup or small-to-medium-sized technology companies.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Swift or Kotlin.
