Senior Software Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance backend applications using Python, prioritizing quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Create integrations among various products, platforms, and both internal and external services.

• Engage in defining and refining the technical architecture of solutions.

• Uphold engineering best practices, which include automated testing, observability, documentation, and code reviews.

• Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to develop scalable solutions.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite development while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability remain a priority.

• Develop an AI agent builder for seamless integration across RD Station products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development using Python.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in automated testing, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.

• Capability to work independently in early-stage or dynamic environments characterized by high levels of experimentation and ambiguity.

• Plus: experience with applied AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, MLOps, or LLMOps.

• Plus: familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog.

• Plus: knowledge of messaging and asynchronous processing technologies, such as Kafka and Pub/Sub.
