Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Integrations, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Cloud Support: Collaborate closely with geographically dispersed Cloud/DevOps teams to deliver production support as required.

• Integration: Partner with data engineers, AI engineers, and product teams to embed CRM functionalities throughout the Seismic platform.

• Technical Leadership: Offer technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers, encouraging best practices in full-stack development.

• Collaboration: Engage actively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and UX designers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET, including unit testing, object-oriented programming, and web services.

• 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, encompassing maintenance and performance tuning.

• Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Development (DDD) utilizing tools such as xUnit and Postman.

• Experience with event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka and in-memory data stores such as Redis.

• Skilled in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

• Experience with Claude, CoPilot, GitHub, NewRelic, Snowflake, Ansible, Python, Agentforce is advantageous.

• Familiarity with major CRM ecosystems such as Salesforce/Dynamics is a plus.

• Front-end development experience is a plus.

• Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of cloud-native services for AI/ML, data storage, and processing. Experience in deploying containerized applications into Kubernetes is a plus.

• SaaS Knowledge: Extensive background in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with a comprehensive understanding of modern distributed systems and cloud operational infrastructure.

• Product Development: Experience collaborating with product management and design, with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions that foster successful delivery. Proven track record of driving feature development from concept to launch. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams across various global regions.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Fast-paced Environment: Experience in fast-paced, dynamic settings, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven company.
