Senior Software Engineer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within agile software development teams to spearhead the design and development of product features related to payment processing, subscription billing, and reporting platforms.

• Oversee integrations with external platforms.

• Guarantee a reliable software delivery process.

• Debug and resolve intricate issues.

• Accelerate time to market by breaking down extensive feature requirements.

• Engage in design and code reviews.

• Provide mentorship to junior members of the development team.

• Manage software issues via ticketing systems.

• Collaborate with team members to integrate business and regulatory requirements into product solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, delivering commercial SaaS solutions utilizing Java.

• Experience in the Payments sector and/or integrating with third-party payment APIs is advantageous.

• A dedicated problem solver with a consistent history of delivering high-quality software solutions.

• 4+ years of experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

• 3+ years of experience in implementing RESTful service-oriented architectures with public APIs.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular; Vue experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with unit testing, mocking, and automation practices.

• 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB; experience with Lambda is a plus.

• Knowledgeable in Linux; experience with containers and Docker is a plus.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
