Senior Software Engineer, Payments and Trust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Backend and Mobile engineers, as well as teams from Product Management, Design, Data, Support, and Finance to define and deliver new capabilities.

• Execute intricate, detail-oriented projects.

• Develop robust and scalable platforms capable of processing millions of transactions.

• Monitor system performance and utilize data analytics to assess customer success.

• Design and enhance customer payment workflows.

• Enable tailored payment solutions for local markets.

• Create tools that enhance financial efficiency.

• Deliver heuristic and model-based fraud prevention systems that facilitate transactions while mitigating abuse.

• Contribute to the evolution of Lime's Engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven history of creating impactful products or systems.

• Background in shipping software that integrates with external services.

• Strong ability to focus on outcomes and effectively solve problems.

• Data-driven mindset, including the ability to instrument work for informed decision-making and analysis of customer data.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Capable of managing competing priorities.

• Experience in customer-centric product development.

• Preferred experience in payment processing, accounting, fraud, or business operations.

• Passion for Lime’s micromobility mission is a plus.

• Must reside and work remotely from Canada.
