Senior Software Engineer, Onboarding – Client-facing AI initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications within our AWS environment, ensuring that implementations fulfill business needs and maintain high-quality standards.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to facilitate seamless product development from initial concept through to deployment.

• Maintain a modern and competitive tech stack by keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Improve system observability and reliability by writing tests, adding essential metrics, debugging issues, and learning from incidents.

• Foster our team's growth by participating in resume screening and conducting interviews for prospective talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of fullstack development experience with complete ownership of business-critical systems.

• Frontend: Strong skills in the React.js ecosystem (TypeScript, Hooks, Redux/Zustand, React Query, MUI, Emotion/Styled Components).

• Backend: Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience in building APIs and working with event-driven/serverless systems.

• Familiarity with Python, Go, Nest.js, or other similar languages/libraries is advantageous.

• Cloud & Database: Practical AWS experience (Serverless, networking basics, container services, RDS).

• Excellent database design skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL, solid SQL fundamentals, and experience with ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma).

• Problem-Solving: Curious and detail-oriented with strong debugging capabilities, balancing accuracy with practical considerations.

• Collaboration & Growth: Effective communicator, receptive to feedback, and enthusiastic about taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.

• AI-assisted coding: Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) and familiar with integrating LLM APIs (e.g., MCP, RAG).
