Senior Software Engineer, Networking DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Creating software solutions to facilitate effective network design, deployment, and ongoing management.

• Developing product-centric software applications utilized by both internal teams and external clients.

• Assisting in the transformation of workflows into a centrally managed configuration framework that operates efficiently across multiple regions.

• Taking ownership of and leading the integration efforts with various service APIs, including those from Cloud Service Providers.

• Leveraging open source software to design and implement data structures and user interface components.

• Enhancing deployment processes and lifecycle management operations.

• Constructing modern service architectures that revolve around streaming data and event pipelines.

• Collaborating with infrastructure specialists to create genuine zero-touch deployment solutions.

• Acting as a proactive problem solver.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 12 years of pertinent industry experience.

• A strong background in networking and network automation, particularly in Datacenters, Points of Presence (PoPs), and Routing.

• High proficiency in Python and Go web frameworks.

• Proven experience in developing and delivering production-quality software products.

• Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox or Nautobot, along with expertise in designing and implementing network configuration management systems.

• Understanding of containerization technologies using Kubernetes (both on-premises and EKS) and streaming telemetry protocols like gRPC and GNMI.
