Senior Software Engineer, .NET, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Design and manage scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core, adhering to Clean Architecture principles and RESTful API design.

• Create and integrate APIs for payment systems, focusing on card tokenization and management of payment methods.

• Assist in frontend development with Angular and TypeScript within an Nx monorepo framework.

• Operate within a cloud-native, containerized Azure environment utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD for deployment processes.

• Engage in specification-driven, test-oriented development using xUnit, Vitest, and Playwright.

• Collaborate with architecture teams to strategize platform development for a greenfield-to-production SaaS product.

• Aid in production observability and reliability through tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana.

• Participate in Azure Pipelines CI/CD processes, SonarQube analysis, Trivy security scanning, and automated testing gates.

• Be part of a distributed team focused on developing digital solutions for waste management, recycling, logistics, and utility operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development.

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core, with expertise in Clean Architecture, EF Core, and REST API design.

• In-depth knowledge of multi-tenancy patterns and production-ready, scalable SaaS applications.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with TypeScript; experience with Angular v17+ and Nx monorepo architecture is preferred.

• Background in integrating OAuth2/OIDC flows and identity providers like Auth0.

• Understanding of Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Pipelines.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and testing methodologies.

• Experience in Agile environments employing a structured, specification-first development approach.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work autonomously in a distributed team.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core is a plus.

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or comparable observability tools is advantageous.

• Background in payments, financial systems, or multi-tenant SaaS products is a bonus.
