Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

• Create top-tier mobile applications focused on fitness and wellness.

• Oversee individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Emphasize overall product quality and user experience.

• Take initiative and be accountable for technical solutions.

• Mentor and guide new engineering hires and fellow software engineers.

• Address complex problems and bugs while promoting best practices.

• Assume additional responsibilities as required, including participating in on-call rotations.

• Report directly to the engineering director.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

• Experience in developing Android and/or iOS applications that integrate health sensors such as continuous glucose monitors, smartwatches, blood pressure monitors, and smart scales.

• At least 3 years of experience in Android software development or 3 years in iOS software development.

• Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in Kotlin or Swift.

• Strong expertise in building modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose or SwiftUI.

• Over 1 year of experience in designing and implementing local databases with SQLite and mobile-side caching.

• Proficient in using AI coding assistants like Claude Code.

• Demonstrated engineering judgment regarding simplicity, readability, build value, mobile sensibilities, and user experience.

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience in Flutter and Dart development.

• Preferred: More than 1 year of Python/AI development experience in AWS.

• Preferred: Experience in mobile software CI/CD, iOS Bluetooth/IoT solutions, and iOS security.

• Must have an interest in and the ability to learn new programming languages as necessary; proficiency or mastery in Flutter, Dart, Python, AWS, and AI system design is expected within 90 days.
