This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, construct, and manage distributed, event-driven systems that facilitate accounting close automation and capital risk workflows.
• Provide scalable data processing solutions that convert high-volume financial events into precise and dependable business outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data Analytics, Finance, and Engineering teams to outline technical solutions for intricate financial processes.
• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of essential financial systems while carefully managing technical debt.
• Direct multi-quarter engineering projects from architecture to production, balancing long-term platform investments with business imperatives.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to boost engineering productivity while upholding high standards for quality, security, and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience developing and managing production systems (L5 standard).
• Proficient in designing and building distributed, event-driven applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experienced in developing scalable backend services that handle substantial volumes of data using contemporary programming languages.
• Familiar with designing, testing, and deploying reliable production systems utilizing software engineering best practices.
