This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and deploy production code on a daily basis, review peer pull requests, and collaborate with engineers to uphold code quality.
• Act as a subject-matter authority on Prebid.js and Prebid Server, covering aspects such as wrapper architecture, bid adapters, identity, consent, floors, and analytics modules.
• Keep track of Prebid releases, modifications in the OpenRTB specification, and new header bidding standards, converting them into actionable platform recommendations and enhancements.
• Take full ownership of the header bidding wrapper from start to finish, involving architecture, release cycles, feature incorporation, and design choices.
• Collaborate with Google Ad Manager, GPT, and the IMA SDK, focusing on line item architecture, key-value targeting, unified auction processes, and Unified Pricing Rules.
• Ensure high-quality JavaScript and TypeScript client-side scripts are operational across thousands of publisher sites.
• Assess and safeguard Core Web Vitals, memory consumption, script execution durations, and network overhead.
• Manage deployed solutions, ensuring reliability and addressing critical issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Profound, hands-on knowledge of Prebid.js, including wrapper configuration, bid adapters, identity, consent, floors, and analytics modules.
• Comprehensive understanding of the auction lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Prebid Server, including stored requests, server-side adapter configuration, and s2s routing.
• Strong practical knowledge of Google Ad Manager, GPT, line item architecture, key-value targeting, unified pricing rules, and dynamic allocation.
• Over 4 years of JavaScript development experience, with significant exposure to TypeScript.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, encompassing GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery, for deploying and managing high-throughput services.
• Broad understanding of ad tech, including OpenRTB, SSP/DSP integrations, identity solutions and EIDs, TCF/GPP consent frameworks, Amazon TAM/APS, and video technologies like IMA SDK/VAST.
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming and client-server architecture.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team environment.
• Exceptional technical documentation and communication abilities.
• Creativity and a merit-based contribution approach are highly valued.
• Contributions to Prebid.js or Prebid Server open-source projects are advantageous.
• Must reside in the United States; this position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
