Senior Software Engineer – Java Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the ongoing and corrective maintenance of backend services in a production setting.

• Actively engage in team ceremonies, initiatives, and the technical decision-making process.

• Address complex challenges and troubleshoot production issues with a methodical and high-quality approach.

• Collaborate consistently with the team to ensure software reliability, performance, and adherence to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive real-world experience as a Backend Developer in productive team environments.

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot as the primary development stack.

• Significant experience with microservices architectures and design principles such as DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, and SOLID.

• Practical experience with relational databases.

• Dedication to development best practices, including thorough testing, clear API documentation, and maintaining code quality.

• A proactive mindset complemented by strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative spirit in agile settings.

• Desirable skills: Experience with Docker and familiarity with cloud platforms or application deployment.

• Experience with asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
