This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Build, maintain, and improve backend applications, APIs, integrations, consumers, jobs, and essential transaction flows.
• Create and implement secure, resilient, scalable, observable, and high-performance solutions.
• Engage in architecture discussions, technical enhancements, standards establishment, and technology advancement strategies.
• Aid in system modernization by advocating software engineering best practices and minimizing technical debt.
• Assist production operations through troubleshooting, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members, fostering the team’s technical excellence.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automations, and processes that enhance productivity and quality of delivery.
• Proficient in developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience in developing REST and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of distributed architectures and microservices.
• Understanding of messaging and queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar technologies).
• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies).
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar technologies).
• Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, or similar technologies).
• Experience with development and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Knowledge of resilient, scalable, event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with TDD and BDD.
• Experience documenting APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Spring Cloud, Kotlin, Apache Spark, AWS, Azure or GCP, generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, and tools like GitHub Copilot and Kiro.
