This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy customer-facing APIs that showcase new model functionalities, from initial prototypes to final launch and continuous improvement.

• Enhance inference infrastructure to accommodate over 1 million API users.

• Collaborate with researchers to implement new methodologies, transforming notebooks or proof-of-concept projects into dependable, low-latency systems ready for customers.

• Engage with customers and Applied teams to gain insights into product usage, guiding product design and research strategies.

• Contribute to various areas including backend services, inference infrastructure, SDKs, and internal tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering experience, particularly in building and maintaining machine learning infrastructure and/or customer-facing APIs in a production environment.

• Ability to thrive in situations with unclear parameters.

• A genuine interest in AI and machine learning.

• Competence in understanding model behavior to make informed engineering choices.

• Excellent collaboration skills with researchers, applied engineers, and customers.
