Senior Software Engineer I/II – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain features across our web platforms.

• Enhance our design system by creating reusable components.

• Collaborate closely with product designers to make informed decisions.

• Optimize the platform for peak performance across various locations.

• Continuously enhance the platform's performance, development experience, and processes.

• Approach tasks with an architectural mindset, always aware of necessary improvements and future directions for our web platforms.

• Fine-tune components to ensure seamless functionality across different browsers and devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in computer science, information science, or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs/GraphQL, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), and browser capabilities.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, including object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, and Babel.

• Comprehensive understanding of ReactJS and its core principles such as JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.

• Prior experience with ReactJS workflows including Flux, Redux, Create React App, and data structure libraries.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing reusable components with React.

• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest.

• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing tools.

• Proven ability to work alongside UX/UI Designers to collaboratively create exceptional user experiences.

• Awareness of front-end trends and the ability to leverage technology to benefit our business and customers.

• Excellent time management, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Availability to address urgent application issues outside regular business hours.

• Knowledge of OWASP security principles.

• Proficient in using code versioning tools, such as Git.
