Senior Software Engineer, Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services and APIs focused on identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.

• Enhance event-driven pipelines that handle billions of signals.

• Deploy and manage cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes utilizing Helm.

• Maintain reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, product, and data teams to provide identity solutions.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Lead a multi-year strategy to improve existing systems and design the next-generation platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at an enterprise level.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Strong knowledge of API design and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Kafka.

• Experience with streaming frameworks such as Spark, Hive, or Flink.

• Knowledge of schedulers like Airflow or Luigi.

• Expertise in using Kubernetes (EKS).

• Proficient in AWS cloud deployment methodologies.

• Understanding of SQL.

• Familiarity with complex data modeling.

• Knowledge of high-throughput NoSQL/columnar databases such as Aerospike, Snowflake, or Scylla.

• Experience in designing multi-tenant distributed systems or real-time streaming frameworks like Flink or Storm.

• Knowledge of open table formats, including Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta Lake.

• Understanding of security and privacy frameworks.
