This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate within an AI Agentic team and assume the scrum master role to develop and maintain our new CI/CD pipeline, which will serve multiple products and services at Acquia.
• Leverage your expertise in object-oriented programming to create and integrate solutions for task automation.
• Assist in onboarding our services, products, and components, transforming the way we build, test, operate, and monitor our cloud-based offerings.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system functionality and architecture, with a keen focus on operational aspects such as availability, performance, change management, emergency response, and capacity planning.
• Engage with your team to review each other's work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other teams to determine and develop integrations with various systems.
• Offer product support to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work in a team-oriented environment where your team is responsible for the services you develop.
• BTech/BE/BS in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in building and operating a DevOps CI/CD Pipeline.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Golang and Python.
• Skilled with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps and/or build, release, and rollback processes, including production delivery.
• In-depth understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), with knowledge of branching and merging strategies.
• 3-5 years of experience managing monitoring and reporting systems, along with building observability dashboards for application and server performance and scalability (e.g., SignalFX, Grafana, or other monitoring tools); experience with centralized logging tools like Sumologic or similar products.
• Familiarity with security best practices.
• Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
• Proficient in writing build automation scripts using object-oriented languages like Python, Go, along with Terraform and Unix Shell (bash, ksh).
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools like Puppet.
• Developed code to ensure extensive test coverage and executed continuous deployment in a professional software engineering setting.
• Knowledge of AWS/GCP products, including EC2 or EKS/ECS.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after hours for emergencies or urgent situations.
