Senior Software Engineer – Função System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Monitor and manage the performance of systems.

• Analyze and develop solutions.

• Provide assistance to both the engineering team and business users.

• Comprehend business goals and requirements, aiding in the project discovery phase with stakeholders to pinpoint business risks and opportunities.

• Assess vendor-suggested solutions for upcoming projects.

• Assist the team and other internal departments in addressing requests, clarifying potential inquiries, and resolving issues.

• Review processes and suggest ongoing enhancements to routines and workflows.

• Facilitate project acceptance testing with users during the transition to the production environment, addressing inquiries, analyzing problems, and, when necessary, escalating issues to the vendor through support tickets.

• Monitor and develop metrics to gauge project success.

• Design and outline departmental processes and maintain activity manuals, ensuring they are current.

• Uphold process control routines and proactively communicate with relevant stakeholders.

• Engage in the team’s Agile ceremonies as well as those of the Development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency with relational databases.

• Understanding of financial mathematics.

• Background in credit operations.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience in crafting and validating user acceptance test plans.

• Knowledge of banking systems, specifically INSS and Portability products.

• Understanding of REST and SOAP web services.

• Experience in using and developing APIs.

• Ability to manage Função workflows.

• Familiarity with payroll-deducted loans and Função systems.
