Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop enduring, high-quality solutions, managing the process from discovery to delivery.

• Suggest technical solutions, question existing practices, and advocate for ongoing improvements in business processes.

• Convert intricate business rules into code, covering commission calculations, partner activation, time constraints, and feature flags.

• Create and enhance scalable, asynchronous solutions utilizing the AWS ecosystem.

• Assist in the ongoing transition of legacy services to contemporary architectures.

• Ensure effective coexistence of legacy services and modern architectures throughout the migration process.

• Evaluate the ecosystem impact and integration with other teams.

• Balance technical excellence with project deadlines and business viability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in software development using TypeScript/Node.js, particularly with a focus on NestJS.

• Strong background in cloud distributed systems, including the use of containers, message queues, and both relational and non-relational databases.

• Extensive understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• In-depth knowledge of unit and integration testing.

• Experience conducting code reviews.

• Comfortable working with Docker/containerization and git/gitflow in daily tasks.

• Ability to thoroughly comprehend business rules and translate them into clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Product-oriented mindset with the capability to balance technical quality, deadlines, and business feasibility.

• Familiarity with serverless architecture and AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB) is advantageous.

• Background in financial markets, payments, or sales-oriented products is beneficial.

• Experience serving as a technical resource, providing support and mentorship to other team members is a plus.

• Knowledge of production experimentation methods, such as A/B testing and Amplitude, is a plus.

• Practical use of AI tools in everyday tasks is a bonus.
