Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack, React/Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain applications utilizing Node.js (v22) and NestJS, guaranteeing the enforcement of TypeScript strict mode throughout the codebase.

• Utilize PostgreSQL as the main database, focusing on query optimization and maintaining data integrity.

• Create user-friendly, responsive interfaces with React and Vite, employing Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components, and document components using Storybook.

• Execute and manage tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright to ensure high quality and performance standards.

• Assist in the configuration and upkeep of production and development environments using Docker, AWS ECS, and Terraform.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions, ensuring the effective automation of build and deployment workflows.

• Engage in a full-stack TypeScript monorepo, aiding in the organization and upkeep of shared code.

• Proven experience in large-scale projects and high-availability environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.

• Active involvement in technology groups or developer communities.

• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate proposed solutions.

• Experience in collaborative product design processes.

• Dedication to ongoing self-improvement in technology.

• Practical experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.

• Understanding of frontend development utilizing React and Vite.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript testing methodologies, specifically with Jest and React Testing Library.

• Experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform and containerization techniques with Docker.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, CSS, and Storybook.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Ability to collaborate within an Agile framework, with a preference for working with monorepos.
