Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create software applications and features utilizing React

• Develop distributed architecture solutions that ensure consistency while scaling

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design products that excel in the market

• Create and gather metrics to foster continuous improvement

• Provide high-quality, tested features that comply with reporting standards

• Lead small development teams as necessary to launch projects

• Guide and mentor engineering colleagues

• Work with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and engineering teams

• Design, develop, and implement new features

• Assist teammates in overcoming obstacles and offer technical direction

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering

• Proven ability to introduce new ideas and build consensus on the way forward

• Proficient in building and serving REST APIs using Java, Python, or a comparable language

• Experience in a distributed, cloud-based architecture, utilizing design patterns like transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Familiarity with SQL-based RDMS via an ORM tool

• Comfortable using observability platforms such as Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog for monitoring and alerting in production

• Experience in DevOps, specifically with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of containerized micro-service architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS

• Proven track record of delivering commercial APIs and web applications

• History of successfully bringing products to market and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder or customer feedback
