Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with diverse teams and partners to define and deliver new systems and features.

• Maintain existing legacy systems.

• Provide leadership to fellow engineers and establish standards for clean, maintainable, and efficient code and processes.

• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the integrity of the codebase.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

• Assist with pitches and proposals to potential clients, demonstrating MO’s technical expertise and solutions.

• Develop and present the technical components of proposals to prospective clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience as an engineering professional.

• Design and implement complex software, define project scope, and lead effective code and design reviews.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to comprehend user requirements and use cases.

• Proficiency in technologies including TypeScript, Next.js, Java 17+, Spring Boot, AWS, Bash, Github Actions, test automation, and relational databases.

• Familiarity with accessibility, privacy, security, monitoring, and developing software that manages PII.

• Capability to lead and mentor junior engineers with empathy and support for their professional growth.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Prior experience in a VA setting is preferred.
