Senior Software Engineer – Frontend-Focused Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of web application development for the Hypori Console, utilized by internal administrators and customer group/tenant managers.

• Spearhead front-end architecture and implementation for a React and TypeScript application.

• Influence the overall user experience by collecting stakeholder feedback, defining interaction patterns and information architecture, and converting intricate workflows into streamlined interfaces.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management and Console users on design and prioritization of the interface.

• Oversee component structure, state management, routing, build and test tooling, and conventions for shared component libraries.

• Deliver and debug features end-to-end through REST APIs and backend services within a Kubernetes-deployed microservices architecture.

• Integrate enterprise identity providers and authorization features, including single sign-on, session management, and role-based access control.

• Develop accessible interfaces that comply with Section 508 / WCAG 2.x AA standards.

• Set up and uphold unit, component, and end-to-end front-end test coverage within CI/CD pipelines.

• Guide engineers, perform code reviews, and influence technical decision-making.

• Responsibly utilize provided AI tools to enhance engineering tasks and elevate product quality.

• Adhere to secure software development policies while safeguarding intellectual property, user data, and system integrity.

• Offer periodic off-business-hours on-call support to operations personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive depth in front-end engineering.

• Capability to architect scalable enterprise web applications.

• Expert-level knowledge in modern frontend development, encompassing state management, data fetching, component composition, and web fundamentals.

• Proficient in at least one backend language.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, container-based delivery, and public cloud platforms.

• Strong product sense and design judgment.

• Working knowledge of accessibility standards and experience in building and testing against them.

• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, common web vulnerabilities and their mitigations, as well as identity and access management patterns.

• Experience in mentoring engineers and leading technical efforts across one or more teams.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Must be a US citizen or a green card holder.

• Preferred: experience with security, identity, or infrastructure management products; enterprise component libraries and design systems; front-end observability.
