Senior Software Engineer – Front End/Back End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Functions as a seasoned individual contributor within a team, anticipated to enhance leadership, guidance, and mentoring capabilities.

• Accountable for supporting the objectives of meeting scope, timeline, and delivery requirements.

• Influences the long-term objectives of the program while aiding in the execution of the program's development strategy.

• May act as the primary lead for the discipline when collaborating with stakeholders.

• Identifies and effectively addresses issues with the systems they oversee, informs educational opportunities, and drives system enhancements.

• Proactively mentors and supports less experienced engineers in their skill development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of engineering experience.

• Extensive background in software development, customer engagement, formal and informal communication, and mentorship.

• Expert-level proficiency in at least one technical domain (backend, infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling).

• Strong generalist capable of reading and contributing in any of the programming languages utilized by our producers and consumers (Java, Ruby, Node, Python, Go).

• Ability to articulate the inner workings of Kubernetes, with practical experience in a modern continuous delivery system (such as Argo CD or a similar tool) and GitHub Actions.
