This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +8 more states.
• Expanding the range of offerings available on the platform for providers.
• Continuously enhancing our technology stack, processes, and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with other engineering teams to improve configurability within our platform.
• Working alongside engineers, product management, and design to identify and address complex challenges.
• Contributing to the technical design processes while providing suggestions for improvements and feedback.
• Playing a key role in advancing Snapsheet to become the industry leader in technology.
• Engaging in an agile environment and participating in weekly stand-ups, retrospectives, and more.
• Proactively reviewing system performance, flagging issues, and proposing alternative solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficient in designing and building APIs.
• Skilled in designing schemas and creating efficient queries for relational databases.
• Knowledgeable about scalability challenges and the performance of server-side code.
• Previous professional experience using React.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Eager to learn from and collaborate with a team-oriented environment.
• Committed to quality and passionate about technology and creating innovative solutions.
• Capable of managing tasks and contributing to multiple initiatives during a sprint.
