Senior Software Engineer, ERP Platforms – Integration, Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop a robust reporting infrastructure that Finance and Analytics can genuinely rely on, including revenue dashboards, margin analysis, accrual reporting, and audit trails.

• Design and execute ETL/data pipeline integrations connecting administer to Vultr's data warehouse, analytics tools, and various external ERP systems.

• Establish the API surface and event contracts that enable downstream systems to reliably consume administer data.

• Create reconciliation tools that allow Finance to validate data integrity without the need to submit JIRA tickets.

• Collaborate with the domain engineer to ensure that reporting requirements influence the data model rather than the opposite.

• Implement monitoring and alerting for data quality in critical financial data pipelines.

• Manage the schema and contract versioning strategy for administer's integration APIs.

• Enhance query performance for financial reporting workloads across extensive datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend or data engineering, particularly with reporting systems, data pipelines, or ETL processes.

• Proven track record of developing reporting systems that Finance actively utilizes, rather than creating dashboards that lack trust.

• Solid experience with data warehouse architectures such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms.

• Exceptional API design capabilities, emphasizing contracts over mere endpoints.

• Proficient across the technology stack: PHP for administer integration, and Python/SQL for pipelines, adapting as needed for the reporting layer.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queue systems.
