Senior Software Engineer, Elixir

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Performing comprehensive code reviews to guarantee quality and compliance with team standards.

• Collaborating with product and design teams across different functions to ensure code fulfills all customer needs.

• Decomposing larger projects into manageable tasks for yourself and your team.

• Enhancing application performance and resolving issues as they arise.

• Identifying and rectifying bugs within the services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in the Elixir programming language and functional programming principles.

• Experience in developing web applications using Phoenix or comparable frameworks.

• Interest or background in CQRS and event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of best practices for web application security.

• Proficient with Git and collaborative team work (e.g., via Pull Requests).

• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.

• Excellent skills in communication and collaboration.

• Experience in integrating legacy systems with contemporary platforms.
