Senior Software Engineer, Elixir

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develop new functionalities in Elixir and React for PDQ Connect, our cloud-based, agent-driven management software for Windows and macOS endpoints.

• Operate within a CI/CD framework, frequently deploying code to production while adhering to agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with engineering colleagues based in the US and Romania on common goals.

• Diagnose technical problems, ranging from bugs to outages and customer support inquiries.

• Investigate, prototype, and contribute to technical decision-making processes.

• Engage in constructive code reviews and pursue continuous learning opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing applications based on Elixir or Erlang, primarily in a professional environment.

• Experience with payment processing and billing systems, such as Stripe.

• Demonstrated ability to create intuitive and scalable UI/UX for SaaS applications.

• Knowledge of agile development practices and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience using GraphQL for creating and consuming APIs.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PostgreSQL.

• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience with open-source development is a plus.
