This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Enhance and broaden the capabilities of the RustRover debugger, focusing on its C++ backend and Java/Kotlin frontend.

• Develop new run/debug configurations for the IDE, including support for remote development.

• Improve the evaluation capabilities for Rust expressions.

• Analyze and resolve OS-specific SIGSEGV issues occurring in C++ code within LLDB.

• Create clear, maintainable code and ensure the underlying algorithms are robust.

• Strong expertise in C++ programming.

• A comprehensive understanding of system programming and multi-process communication.

• A solid grasp of software development methodologies and life cycles.

• Basic familiarity with Java or Kotlin, or a willingness to learn swiftly.

• Experience with compiler development, LLVM/LLDB, or low-level debugging across different OS platforms is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in additional languages such as Rust, Clojure, Python, Ruby, or Haskell is also beneficial.
