Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain our backend systems.

• Oversee the creation and upkeep of our GraphQL API.

• Manage deployments within a Kubernetes environment on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Ensure that our applications are reliable and scalable.

• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and QA to deliver top-notch features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (C1+ level).

• Expertise in Ruby programming.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in developing GraphQL APIs.

• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including deployments, Kubernetes, and GCP.

• A proactive, product-minded individual who can work effectively across diverse cultures.
