Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• A key player in the advancement of our Kubernetes-based platform.

• Lead major infrastructure projects that significantly enhance the productivity of the entire engineering team.

• Accountable for the technical execution and dependable delivery of the essential systems that support all our services.

• Oversee the lifecycle of our most critical platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.

• Familiarity with cloud service providers and the design of high-availability distributed systems.

• Technologies: AWS (IAM, VPC, Route53, EKS), Azure, or GCP. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration.

• Experience in architecting and maintaining production-grade container clusters and microservices at scale.

• Technologies: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Helm, Crossplane, and Service Meshes like Istio or Linkerd.

• Technologies: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

• Proficiency in Terraform — including module design, state management, provider upgrades, and extensive refactoring across multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable code to automate manual tasks and develop internal platform tools.

• Strong AWS knowledge covering EKS, IAM, VPC networking (NLB/ALB, Transit Gateway, Global Accelerator), Route53, CloudFront, and multi-account architectures.

• Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault & Consul, AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, External Secrets Operator, and Cert Manager.

• Experience in working with highly available distributed systems across multiple regions.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Professional experience in developing and deploying applications within a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) utilizing CI/CD pipelines.

• A passion for tackling intricate engineering challenges.
