This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain reusable developer tools (CLI tools, NPM and Kotlin libraries) utilized by all engineering teams.
• Facilitate a consistent and seamless local development experience for engineers.
• Construct and uphold robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) that deliver rapid, dependable feedback loops.
• Recognize and resolve bottlenecks in the developer workflow through proactive collaboration with engineering teams.
• Contribute to and uphold standards for code reusability and maintainability across various packages and libraries.
• Integrate AI tools (LLMs, agentic workflows, code generation) into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows to enhance delivery speed.
• Develop AI-assisted automation for test generation, code review, and identification of performance anomalies.
• Assess and implement emerging AI developer tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, custom agents) and advocate for their utilization across engineering.
• Create intelligent observability solutions using AI to extract actionable insights from Datadog and other monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
• Work alongside architects, developers, and QA teams to devise and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy.
• Validate performance, stability, scalability, and reliability across web and mobile product surfaces.
• Establish and maintain a scalable performance testing environment that supports both functional and load scenarios.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on performance bottlenecks and provide clear recommendations.
• Coordinate performance testing across internal teams and external resources, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for each release.
• Communicate testing status and performance insights to engineering leadership, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing developer tooling, platform engineering, or DevOps.
• A strong commitment to developer productivity, treating colleagues as valued customers.
• A robust systems thinker capable of navigating both platform-level architecture and the everyday challenges faced by individual engineers.
• Enthusiastic about AI and proactively seeking opportunities to apply it to tangible engineering challenges, beyond just buzzwords.
• Ability to communicate effectively across engineering, QA, and leadership, translating technical insights into business-relevant information.
• Comfortable working in a cross-geographical environment and capable of leading and mentoring peers in a distributed setup.
