Senior Developer Success Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Be an enthusiastic learner: You will engage with cloud-native, highly scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices. This role will enable you to develop in-depth knowledge of container orchestration, networking, and observability while addressing intricate, real-world customer scenarios.

• Be an ardent problem solver: If you find satisfaction in addressing scalability, reliability, and troubleshooting issues within distributed systems, this position is ideal for you. You will collaborate closely with developers to resolve complex infrastructure challenges, enhance cloud performance, and improve reliability for Temporal users.

• Create observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus), enhance networking (load balancing, DNS, ingress/egress), and automate infrastructure operations (Terraform, IaC) to ensure customers can operate Temporal effectively at scale.

• Proactively lead technical solutions, whether it involves troubleshooting intricate production issues or establishing best practices for infrastructure, with guidance from experienced engineers and mentors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as a developer, ideally proficient in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Golang, TypeScript.

• Experience in deploying and managing medium to large-scale architectures (e.g., Kubernetes or Docker).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, alongside troubleshooting performance and availability concerns.

• At least one year of experience in a role that involves interaction with internal or external customers.

• A genuine passion for assisting others, regardless of their background or behavior.

• Experience working with or as part of remote teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Prioritize understanding first, lead with data, and depend on factual information.
