This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and implement CI/CD pipeline infrastructure utilizing GitHub Actions, Argo Rollouts, or comparable tools, focusing on enhancing developer velocity and reliability.
• Develop and sustain internal developer tools, SDKs, and self-service platform features built on Kubernetes (EKS) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Atmos) for shared developer platform resources across various AWS accounts.
• Collaborate with developers and operations engineers to establish clear and beneficial guidelines for safely rolling out production changes.
• Monitor metrics on organizational tools like Cortex to ensure our modifications are achieving the desired outcomes.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers in cloud-native development, platform patterns, and AI engineering methodologies.
• Participate in incident response and postmortem activities, including creating AI-driven tools for detection, triage, and prevention.
• A minimum of 5 years in software or platform engineering, with at least 2 years in roles focused on infrastructure or tooling.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS), Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Expertise in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, Harness, CodeFresh, or similar).
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Atmos).
• Strong understanding of AWS services, networking, IAM, and distributed system patterns.
• Proficient programming skills in Go, Python, or Java, with a proven ability to deliver production-grade internal tools.
• An AI-native engineer: frequently uses tools like Claude Code, Copilot, or similar agents; has developed or deployed at least one AI-powered automation in a production setting.
