Senior Software Engineer, Backend – Identity International

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Accountable for achieving and delivering quarterly objectives for your team.

• Assist colleagues and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle by working alongside product management, design, and analytics.

• Proactively recognize and address project, process, technology, or business challenges and take the lead in resolving them.

• Ensure the operations and accessibility of your team’s artifacts by establishing and tracking relevant metrics.

• Cultivate a culture of quality and accountability within your team by setting or enhancing code review and design standards.

• Contribute to the growth of team members by providing constructive feedback and guidance, while exemplifying leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying backend systems at scale using programming languages such as Python or Kotlin.

• Proven history of developing highly available distributed systems leveraging technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

• Experience in outlining a technical strategy for delivering a significant feature or system component with a clear, simple, and extensible design.

• Skilled in implementing substantial changes in a large codebase, having developed a set of tools and practices that allow you and your team to do so safely.

• Exhibited ownership of personal development, actively seeking feedback from your team, manager, and stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
